Now I know black isn’t truly a colour, but it still evokes images as strong as the brightest colour. It could be a sad, funereal image, or a cheerful little black party dress. For me today, it’s a little black jacket. Chanel!
The “Little Black Jacket” exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery is well worth a visit. Largely black and white photos of Lagerfeld’s famous customers adorn the walls of this bright and airy gallery. The photos were taken by Lagerfeld himself and show the versatility of this iconic item of clothing. It will certainly leave you desiring one of your own.
